Murilo Cavalcanti, also known as verso*, is a multidisciplinary artist currently residing in Uberlândia, Brazil. His work encompasses digital and traditional painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, and multimedia productions often exploring dark and surrealist themes.
For over five years, Cavalcanti has been working as an illustrator and visual development artist in the animation and videogame industries. Past clients include Adidas, Disney, Riot Games, and Garena — as well as studios such as MediaMonks, Lightfarm, and Compulsion Games.
His educational background includes coursework in "Environment Concept Art" by Kevin Gnutzmans, "Storyboard - Movement" by Guto Bicalho, "Storytelling and Visual Narrative" by Ellen Alves, and "Background for Animation" by Fernanda Montoni.
